Bentley Bentayga Gets New 'A' Trim And Enhanced Features For 2024

The 2024 Bentley Bentayga is getting a host of new features and options that make it even more appealing than before. While the bones are mostly the same, Bentley has taken customer feedback to improve the standard suite of features. There's even a new trim on offer that will slot in beneath the Azure.

Starting on the exterior, the lineup gets new paint options with seven satin colors (Royal Ebony, Light Sapphire, Orange Flame, Alpine Green, British Racing Green, Cricket Ball, and Candy Red), and new 21-inch wheels have three different finishes (silver, black painted and bright machined, and a polished finish). The grille has been slightly revised, too.

On the more mechanical side of things, rear-axle steering has been added to the S, Azure, and EWB models, and the latter gains access to an available Styling Specification with a large rear spoiler and carbon fiber accents.

Speaking of the EWB, Bentley has seen a pattern of 50% of its customers speccing the Airline Seat Specification with Postural Adjust and Seat Auto Climate. As such, Bentley will now bring those seat features to the standard wheelbase models. Rear seat passengers can select one of seven temperature zones, and the seats can automatically detect whether to apply heating or ventilation.

A new electrical architecture enables improvements to the Bentayga's safety suite, including adaptive cruise control, intelligent park assist, 3D surround view, lane departure warning, and Bentley Safeguard. These systems can be viewed on the digital gauge cluster, which gets three new dial themes. There's even a new style featuring a digital Bentayga with interactive exterior lights. Customers can also use remote park assist to start and maneuver the vehicle via a smartphone.

Bentley typically pairs its infotainment to a Naim audio system, but now customers can opt for a Bang & Olufsen system. A BeoSonic One-Touch Experience creates four different audio experiences: Bright, Energetic, Warm, and Relaxed, and the speakers themselves feature a Fibonacci hole pattern backlit by LEDs.

No major changes were announced under the hood, but a new Bentayga A model has been added to the range to slot below the Azure and above a standard Bentayga. Bentley will only offer the Bentayga A in certain regions with unique exterior and interior details. On the outside, the Bentayga A features a straight vanned grille, black lower bumper grilles, 'A' badging, and 21-inch black and bright wheels. Inside, it gets the front seat comfort specification with heating, ventilation, and massage functionality. 100% recycled nylon carpets now come standard across the lineup.

This will also be the last year to get a Bentayga with the monstrous W12 engine before Bentley discontinues it, although it's only available in the Bentayga Speed.
