Bugatti Unveils $300,000 Pool Table

Bugatti is best known for building supercars with mind-blowing performance like the Chiron. But sometimes luxury car manufacturers branch out into other industries and sell accessories that give the brand more exposure and bring in more revenue. Recently, Porsche partnered with Nike to launch some stylish sneakers inspired by the Porsche 917K racecar. Other car manufacturers sell high-end wristwatches. Now, Bugatti has built a lavish carbon-fiber pool table that will look perfect on your luxury yacht.

Made in partnership with IXO, the pool table is officially licensed by Bugatti and even features an optional "servo-driven system" with a gyroscopic sensor that levels the table when installed onboard a yacht.

With this system, each leg can move to compensate for the movement of a ship to keep the table level. These adjustments are made in just five milliseconds silently with no vibration.

Like Bugatti's cars, the pool table is lavished with high-quality materials, with a carbon fiber finish and machined aluminum and titanium underpinning the frame. The sides of the drawers are manufactured with brushed and anodized aluminum and feature the Bugatti logo, while the ball pockets are made from stainless steel and are lined with leather. Carbon fiber is also applied to the wall cue support, which features a 13-inch, high-resolution touch screen to keep track of scores. The anodized aluminum ends of the carbon fiber pool cues match the design of the buttons inside Bugatti's hypercar.

Other accessories that come with the pool table include a dimmable LED ceiling light made with carbon fiber, a chalk box with anodized aluminum, a cleaning brush, a leather suitcase, and a USB key with photos and videos showing how the pool table was made.

According to Bugatti, it meets the standards of a professional tournament pool table. Each Bugatti Pool Table is adorned with a unique plate displaying the Bugatti logo and a limited-edition number highlighting its exclusivity. Ixo will only make 30 Bugatti Pool Tables, including five in 2021. Pricing for the Bugatti Pool Table starts at €250,000 ($300,701) including accessories, with first deliveries beginning in June.
