Monterey Car Week welcomes another Porsche-like creation, and it's as awesome as you'd hope.

Porsche restomod outfit Gunther Werks has unveiled a new creation called the Touring Turbo Edition Coupe, and it produces over 750 horsepower. Much of the car can be likened to the Project Tornado restomod revealed at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering a year ago, but this one has more power and some unique upgrades.

The new car was revealed at the same event this week, marking the tuner's sixth consecutive year attending the show. It will have some competition in stealing the limelight, as several other Porsche-like creations, including an 800-hp RUF, have also been revealed at the year's most prestigious motoring event.

Gunther Werks is particularly proud of this car's all-new Turbo Touring Duck Tail rear wing, which helps to feed cold oxygen to the air-cooled flat-six engine. This features a carbon fiber shroud that helps enhance airflow to the engine bay, channeling it to a flat fan.

The tuner says this creates a dynamic ram air effect, maximizing repeatable performance. This new wing is an option that can be added to the standard wing and even has its own dedicated carry case - just in case you change your mind on how you want the car to look and perform while you're out and about.

Further details are scant, but we can see a pair of carbon fiber helmets nestled behind the carbon-shelled seats. The cabin is infested with carbon fiber and Alcantara, with aluminum and orange enlivening the ambiance somewhat. And like you might get in an actual Porsche 911 Turbo, a dash-mounted clock adds a touch more racing influence. Carbon fiber wheels from Dymag appear, too, as we saw on Project Tornado at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed. These hide a set of Brembo slotted and drilled brakes, but the really sexy mechanical components are hiding under the rear hood, where the 4.0-liter engine is revealed in all its glory.

Pricing and exact performance data have not been revealed, but you can be sure this will cost high six figures. Worth the money? Undoubtedly.
