New One-Off Rolls-Royce Phantom Inspired By The Italian Riviera

The automaker's Bespoke department knows something about building exquisite motorcars.

Rolls-Royce makes the finest luxury cars in the world, but if you want something even more spectacular, the company's Bespoke department is there to make your automotive dreams come true.

The latest model to receive the Bespoke touch is the Phantom 'Inspired by Cinque Terre,' a one-of-one ultra-luxury car inspired by the glamourous and idyllic Italian Riviera, a region known for its viticultural expertise. The Cinque Terre area can be found on the coast of Liguria in Northern Italy. The vibrant fishing villages and Mediterranean vineyards are replicated throughout the Phantom, with stunning Ligurian Blue paintwork reflecting the deep waters of the Riviera.

A Navy Blue and Jasmine double coachline flows across both sides of the vehicle. In honor of the region's winemaking tradition, a motif of a bunch of grapes can be found on the front fenders. This is repeated on the rear picnic tables, made of stainless steel and gold plating.

The surface is painted in Milori Blue, with a playful sparkle adding vibrancy to the picnic table. As for the rest of the interior, Rolls-Royce has adorned just about every surface with Grace White and Navy Blue leather, accented by Jasmine detailing.

On the rear doors, you'll find gorgeous grape-branch embroidery, each piece comprising an incredible 9,215 stitches. The grapes are finished with a delicate satin stitch, while the grape leaf has been brought to life with a tatami stitch, a flatter style that is more textural and tactile.

And if you thought 9,215 stitches were a lot, wait until you glimpse the exquisite headliner. The Bespoke Starlight Headliner features a map of Italy, made up of 14,338 individual stitches. Five glowing stars represent the coastline of the Cinque Terre villages. Trust Rolls-Royce to give new meaning to "attention to detail."

The Starlight Headliner isn't even the most magical part of the vehicle. Housed within The Gallery is a specially commissioned artwork that showcases the beauty, color, and character of Cinque Terre. The five cliffside villages have been brought to life in art form. Rolls-Royce notes the piece was first sketched digitally and later airbrushed with water-based acrylic paint. Multiple coats of lacquer give it a magnificent shine.

Rolls-Royce's Gallery allows owners to create just about anything for their mobile art gallery, but the Phantom 'Inspired by Cinque Terre' has one of the loveliest pieces we've seen.

Once the glove compartment is opened, a special final touch reveals itself, with the five villages debossed into the silver trim. As a Bespoke commission, this Phantom will never be repeated, meaning the owner will have an actual one-of-one car.
