One-Off BMW X6 M Laced With Gold Carbon Fiber

The styling is a bit much, but the power upgrades are welcome.

German tuning company Manhart Performance has unveiled a one-off version of the BMW X6 M dubbed the "Gold Edition." Based on the company's already bonkers-looking MHX6 700 build, it gets a unique exterior look thanks to a combination of carbon fiber parts, a deep purple body color, and a smattering of gold-colored trim.

The eye-catching carbon fiber pieces are particularly striking. That's because, unlike the exposed carbon fiber on the "regular" MHX6 700 revealed in 2021, the material on this car has a splash of gold flakes.

Those golf-flaked carbon fiber parts are the most eye-popping of all the exterior additions on this coupe-SUV, as these are fitted on the vehicle as side skirts, fender flares, front lip, grille surrounds, side mirrors, diffuser, hood vents, etc.

So while the older, more mainstream version of the company's tuned M6 is already an eye-full, this one might be a bit too busy-looking for most folks. Manhart does have some slightly prettier builds, but many will think that this is already approaching Mansory Venatus levels of sensory overload.

As a consolation, the Gold Edition X6 M from Manhart gets some minor performance upgrades. For starters, its 4.4-liter V8 now produces 720 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque thanks to an ECU remap, similar to what Manhart did with the 635 hp BMW X4 M build.

Those are similar numbers to the earlier MHX6 700 builds, and it's a good jump from the stock X6 M's 523-hp output.

The Gold Edition also gets a KW coilover suspension kit with height adjustability and the company's own stainless steel quad exhaust with a controllable sound control system. Its interior likewise received additional visual enhancements, particularly on its steering wheel, paddle shifters, etc.

If you want to roll around in this thing, you'll have to contact Manhart directly to get a price quote. Be warned: you might get mixed reactions, but at least you'll be quick.
