The game is packing a ton of content.

Electronic Arts' upcoming game EA Sports WRC is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated racing games of the year, and the company has just released a new video that outlines all of the features you'll be able to dive into.

This includes traditional modes like Career, multiplayer, competing in the 2023 WRC championship, and so much more. Taking games like DiRT up a notch, we have a feeling this game is going to be something special.

Starting off with the basics, for all newcomers, the game offers a Rally School. The mode offers 10 lessons for each different surface type available, along with timed challenges at the end of each segment. Of course, if you have more experience with racing games like this, you can jump right past this and head to Career Mode to get started.

In Career Mode, you can choose between one of three avenues: WRC Junior, WRC 2, and the main event, WRC. During the career campaign, you'll build and manage your team throughout the racing calendar, which includes rallies and side invitationals. Along the way, you'll have to make critical decisions about personnel and budgets as you climb the ladder and expand.

Of course, in a game like this, you'll want to customize your car extensively, and EA Sports WRC has you covered. The Builder mode allows players to create different classes of vehicles with serious detail, allowing changes to the engine layout, suspension, chassis, and loads of aesthetic freedom.

The customizability is practically endless thanks to 75 vehicles, so rest assured you'll be able to scratch that artistic itch of creating the perfect rally car, whether that be a Lancia Stratos or a Volkswagen GTI.

Moving on to more unique details, the game offers three modes you won't find elsewhere. The first, WRC Moments, allows you to get behind the wheel during iconic rally moments. Players will aim for specific objectives during the races, with new ones appearing daily. Each Moment comes with actual race footage or an in-game creation, and as you play along, you'll be able to place yourself on the leaderboards.

The WRC Championship mode allows you to play across the 2023 FIA World Rally Championship calendar. With the ability to play across various categories with various championship lengths, it's perfect for those following the season closely.

Next up is something genuinely unique called Regularity Rally, which offers an alternative to the typical time trial. In this mode, your goal is to arrive at specific stages in the rally at set times, aiming to maintain an average instead of outright winning. With the help of the co-driver, who gives you tips on how to achieve the times, arriving too early or too late will ding your points.

The last, and perhaps the most welcome, addition to the game is the inclusion of Clubs. Utilizing the Racenet app or website, players can organize single multiplayer events or months-spanning championships with tons of customizability. The benefit of this mode is not everyone needs to compete at the same time, allowing players to complete the event while it is live.

Of course, the game also offers Solo Quickplay, up-to-32 player Multiplayer, and Time Trials like one would expect as well as esports events that are on the way. It seems it has everything and more to get people excited about WRC, and we think that's a great thing. The game arrives on November 3rd, 2023, on the Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, Epic Store, Steam, and PC via the EA App.
