But only 50 will be made.

For the vast majority of drivers, the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Coupe with its 650 horsepower supercharged V8 engine offers more performance than they could ever feasibly use. But America is the land of excess, which is why aftermarket tuners like Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) offer even faster versions of the Camaro. You may remember hearing about SVE earlier this year, as the American tuner released an 800-hp Chevy Silverado and a 1,000-hp Camaro Convertible.

Now, the company just revealed a new special edition version of its highly-tuned Camaro, called the Yenko/SC. Limited to only 50 units worldwide, the 2021 SVE Camaro Yenko/SC uses a supercharged V8 producing a tire-shredding 1,050 hp and 900 lb-ft of torque. This looks like the ultimate Camaro.

SVE's creation lives up to the legendary Yenko name with colossal power that's also reliable. To make sure the engine can stand up to the abusive of that massive supercharger, SVE added a forged steel crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons, high-flow cylinder heads, an upgraded fuel delivery system, a larger throttle body, a new exhaust.

SVE also upgraded the car's cooling so it doesn't overheat. The Yenko/SC gets a new engine oil cooler, dual outboard radiators, a transmission cooler, and a rear differential cooler. It should even handle pretty well since SVE redesigned the suspension while retaining the factory Magnetic Ride Control.

The Yenko/SC stands out over a normal Camaro with its carbon fiber hood with an unpainted center section, unique wheels, special badges, and plaques in the cabin. Since this is a factory-authorized tune, it also keeps GM's three-year/60,000-mile warranty. SVE will only offer 50 examples in the US and Canada, though the engine is not emissions compliant in California.

If you want one, the package costs $69,995 plus a donor car. A Camaro SS check in at $37,000 plus another $7,000 for the 1LE package. Factoring in the price of the Yenko conversion, this awesome muscle car will set you back at least $114,000. That's a lot of money to spend on a Camaro, but this is a lot of car, after all.
