Acura’s best-selling model, the TL offers a sensible alternative to the midsize luxury sedans coming from Europe. Although the controversial Acura grille is found on the TL, the typically bland styling found in the rest of the lineup is absent in the TL. It looks good on the outside and is well-appointed and comfortable on the inside. Acura’s AWD works well in adverse conditions, but is equally capable in performance situations. The TL might not win over every fan of Germany’s sport sedan offerings, but unlike some other Japanese carmakers, at least they haven’t given up trying.
