WATCH: Lamborghini Revuelto Lights Up Its Tires At The Nurburgring For The First Time

We get to hear its electronically-assisted V12 roar while in action.

The proverbial hype train understandably went full steam ahead when supercar fans worldwide got wind of the upcoming Lamborghini Revuelto. Unfortunately, there have been only a few sneaky glimpses to be had of the Italian brand's first-ever V12 hybrid actually running on the tarmac.

Back in April, the Revuelto was spied on the road for the first time where it was being driven quietly and conservatively. But as a stark contrast, this new video shows the flagship supercar going ham during its first-ever Nurburgring test run.

The video covers most of the hybrid halo car's track session, from its arrival on a car carrier to its exit from the circuit. As a side note, the hybrid supercar entered Green Hell together with a purple Lamborghini Urus, which we think functioned as a backup car.

As the wedge-shaped car made its way through the German course, we got to hear the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12's roar. Curiously enough, the hybrid supercar sounds a tad more refined than the Lamborghini Aventador. It likewise showed stability as it took on the track's high-speed corners and particularly bumpy portions.

From the perspective of the video, the hybrid monster demonstrated a rapid pace. The recording even showed the Lamborghini easily overtaking other cars, including other test units, that were having a go at the Nurburgring.

We don't know much about the Revuelto's lap time at the 'Ring during the session. Do remember, however, that this Lambo's powerful V12 engine and three electric motors can produce a total of 1,001 horsepower. The V12 alone then makes 535 pound-feet of torque, with the electric motors adding 332 lb-ft more.

With that kind of muscle, the Italian carmaker claims that it can get from 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. Its real top speed is yet to be recorded, but Lamborghini claims that the Revuelto can go over 219 mph.

For now, the automaker is yet to disclose the V12 hybrid beast's prices. Not that you could buy one anyway since this Italian supercar is already sold out. Lamborghini, however, did post a detailed production video that shows the secrets behind its latest halo car.
