World's First Twin-Turbo Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Is A 1,100-HP Beast

Why should only tarmac-bound Huracans get the twin-turbo treatment?

A group of enterprising modified car builders has made the world's first twin-turbo Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. The off-road capable Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is already a pretty unique car; just think about it, an Italian supercar that can conquer mountains and deserts. But what happens when that insanity is dialed all the way up?

Headlining the build is a twin-turbo kit from Boost Logic, specializing in the Huracan. This particular unit is owned by a supercar enthusiast YouTuber named Ron. Besides the twin-turbo setup, it received upgraded fuel pumps, a titanium exhaust system, a titanium intake, a billet manifold, and new cooling components.

That said, the build was far from easy. They had to remove a huge chunk of the interior to get to the car's fuel tanks. Most of its rear end was opened to install the twin turbochargers.

On the third day of the build, the group took the twin-turbo Sterrato to a nearby dyno shop. On its first dyno pull, it produced around 840 horsepower. That's already around 230 hp more compared to the stock. However, the power the car made consistently climbed up to 856 hp. On the fourth dyno pull, it rose to an incredible 941 hp. Incredibly enough, this was done on pump gas.

The video doesn't show the final tune, and we reckon this will be revealed in a later update. Then again, Heath, the turbo expert from Boost Logic, did say that it would be able to make at least 1,100 hp at the crank.

But as the car is intended to become a daily, it will be limited to around 850 hp at the wheels on pump gas. On ethanol, it will be able to make an estimated 1,050 hp. This makes it almost as powerful as the Huracan-based LP1200 Strada from Zyrus Engineering.

At the end of the video, the owner hinted that the Sterrato would be taken to "the great outdoors," which means an off-road run for the twin-turbo build is coming. Maybe even sick jumps, perhaps?
